
This completed submod adds the Angmar campaign from vanilla Rise of the Witch King to Edain. The Chronicles Submod is a submod for Edain Mod which brings back the Wizard class, which was left out because it was deemed too false to the lore. This section links to different submods, and each link should have a small summary under it to give an idea of the submod. The Edain Team does not provide support for problems related to submods. These mods expand on different aspects that fans liked and have to be added manually. Submods are fan-made mods that work with Edain Mod.

Sorry guys, but I've worked with my fair share of engineers/programmers, and I know sloppy work instructions when I see 'em!ĭespite this, don't let the shortcomings in communication obscure the incredible work and genius put into making this submod the best it could be. There needs to be more transparency about steps for keeping back-ups of vanilla for noobs also. On top of that, they have been patient and diligent with fixes and solutions, but at the end of the day failed thus far to effectively organize the new info into a flow tree taking you from Third Age Mod Installation -> MOS Submod Installation -> Fixes for potential bugs. It has subtly different descriptions and points of missing context between the different places instructions are available which adds to a sense of ambiguity. Between this page and their page there is a lack of continuity of language/redundancy or a clear format for their instructions.
If that isn't enough to get you to download and support this mod, I honestly don't know what is.ĮDIT: I am going to deduct one point from my rating, however, because I think the modders could have done a much better job of explaining how to install the submod. And so, and I say this without hesitation, this work done to create this submod (and the incredible foundation laid before it) is the grandest and most satisfying recreation of Tolkien's world since the movies.
